Our Program
The purpose of Equity University is to assist in training a Retail Social Equity workforce and coaching entrepreneurs.
The curriculum is built with a multifaceted approach to accomplish three main tasks, to help train a qualified social equity workforce, to coach retail entrepreneurs towards licensure and operations of their own, and to work towards creating a truly equitable cannabis industry.
Besides role-playing experiences, students at Equity University take classes related to the retail value chain, point of sale technology, shift management, inventory management, sales, customer service, compliance and general management. Our standardized training is focused on developing leadership skills, working and learning in a team, and preparing for challenging scenarios.
The Opportunity
Since 2017, the US cannabis industry has averaged over 27% growth each year. No other industry has come anywhere close.
By 2021, legal cannabis has already surpassed the top 9 projected growing jobs through 2029. That’s growth on a whole new level.
